I think it should be illegal to ride an elevator down one floor if you are able to walk and aren't pushing a gurney or cart.
Especially in a hospital. Come on people. Take the stairs and work off that plastic packaged 1000 calorie, 22 gram of fat cinnamon roll you're munching.

These are the same people who ordered skim, no whip mochas with that cinnamon roll. And then took the train one stop when they could've walked three blocks.
Douglas Adams called them Nibsters in the Meaning of Lif.
Especially in a hospital though- as you know, not all medical problems are apparent. Some portion of nibsters are recuperating from something.
