Ah, yes, Match Day

I was hired by my first choice residency program. Much exultation occuring here today. Even the crazy patients in the ER can't dampen this mood.

Thanks for the congratulations. Unfortunately, in the interests of preserving as far as possible my annonymnity, I can't say where I'm going. It is a good program, though, and I am very pleased to be headed to it.

But... can you say what *kind* of program? If you've talked about that in the past, I've unfortunately missed it!

Haha, yes, I can. Internal medicine, which I hope to follow with a chief residency and possibly a fellowship. We'll see.

Eh? Has Blogger been eating up my comments? I could've sworn I posted one here to congratulate you long before half the world did...

So for something different: Curse you Nathan! Now you've got me hooked on tests from OKCupid! Must...stop...now...NOOOOOO...

Heh. Thanks for the link though, it was really interesting. I'm Light, Spontaneous and Vulgar. VULGAR? Well, I never. I'm such an angel.

Hello! I'm very happy that you got your first choice! I just found your blog and can't wait to read more. Thanks and congrats!

angry medic - it very well could have. I turned off word verification because it was causing problems anyway, so hopefully that will fix matters. Thanks for the congratulations, and good luck staying away from OKCupid. I ended up with Dark, Complex, and Vulgar. Apparently I'm a provocateur.

one student doctor - thanks, and I'm glad you're enjoying your stay.
